the Enlightened Soul Center & Shop?

 
Please fill out the inquiry form below and we will contact you within 24 hours (weekends or holidays, 48 hours). Email Julia at rentals@enlightenedsoulcenter.com if you have a question, to have a written record. If you need to speak with someone urgently about rentals, please text owner Amy at: (734) 358-0218. Please reserve at least 48 hours in advance, thank you! Once you have successfully submitted the form, you will get a confirmation message on your screen and an email will be sent to the address you indicated.

RENTAL PROCESS:

 
  • Fill out the Hourly Rental Application below. (If you have trouble filling out the application on a phone, try this link to open the form in a new window: https://goo.gl/forms/qfThBPHJE4qnJRVS2 )
  • Watch for follow-up email from rentals@enlightenedsoulcenter.com. Check your spam folder if you do not see the email.
  • Pay the non-refundable deposit, which is half of the total rent. You will be emailed a Paypal invoice and can pay with debit or credit card by scrolling to the bottom of the Paypal window (no Paypal account needed), unless other payment arrangements have been made. 
    Rental of the Classroom, Event Room, and Entire Center: Cancel in writing up to 2 weeks before a weekday event or 1 month prior to a weekend event (Friday night–Sunday) to keep from owing the rest. Treatment Room Rental (Room 3): Cancel 1 week in advance in writing to avoid owing us the rental fee.
  • For massage rentals, please bring your own linens and add 15 minutes to your rental for room set-up and clean-up. Thank you!
  • FOR PUBLIC EVENTS you wish us to promote: Send in email to Amy Garber, if not included in the form (To be used on our website and other promotions):
(1) Official title of the event (if not given in the form)
(2) Event image/logo (or we will choose one)
(3) Bio and photo for presenter, if applicable
(4) Description about the event

Halfway between Washtenaw Ave. and Packard Rd. on the east side of Carpenter Rd., adjacent to the University of Michigan Credit Union. Parking and main entrance are in the back. Additional parking is available on the side street next door (Central Ave.).

Rental Rates as of  November 2022 (Will increase on May 1, 2024)

ROOM 3 (SMALL TREATMENT ROOM) RATES:

Weekdays (daytime M-F til 5 pm): $12/hour (5/1: $15/hour)

Evenings after 5 pm or Weekends : $14/hour (5/1: $18/hour)

A 50% non-refundable deposit may be required to hold your space. Cancellation in writing up to 1 week before the event absolves you from owing the rest.

CLASSROOM/KITCHEN & BACK LOBBY RATES:

Weekday daytime rate (M-F): $13/hour (5/1: $16/hour)

Weekday evening rate (after 5 pm M-Th): $16/hour (5/1: $22/hour; Weekday Evening rate will be the same as the Weekend rate)

Weekends (daytime Sa-Su or evenings F-Su): $19/hour (5/1: $22/hour)

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your space. Cancellation in writing up to 2 weeks before a weekday event or 1 month prior to a weekend event (Friday night–Sunday) absolves you from owing the rest.

EVENT ROOM RATES:

Weekday daytime rate (M-F): $15/hour (5/1: $18/hour)

Weekday evening rate (after 5 pm M-Th)): $20/hour (5/1: $25/hour)

Weekends (daytime Sa-Su or evenings F-Su): $25/hour (5/1: $30/hour)

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your space. Cancellation in writing up to 2 weeks before a weekday event or 1 month prior to a weekend event (Friday night–Sunday) absolves you from owing the rest.

MINIMUM FEE FOR PUBLIC EVENTS requiring promotion: $22

PERCENTAGE INSTEAD OF RENTAL RATE:

Subject to ESC approval, for activities that we wish to support by removing the risk of rent outpacing profits (e.g., yoga or meditation): 20–50% of ticket sales

ZOOM-ONLY or PROMOTION-ONLY RATES:

Instead of rent, for website listing & promotion:

One-time event: $30 fee

Multiple-day event: $50 fee

​

ZOOM MODERATION RATE:

In addition to rent, for moderating your event on Zoom (either in person or Zoom-only): 20% of ticket sales
